Message from the Chamber Director

Director's Message

douglas mayorga chamber director The Minority Chamber of Commerce is the business development organization that can have a positive measurable impact on your business’s ability to grow your market share, loyalty to your brand and returns on your investment of time and resources.

Our primary focus is the relentless pursuit of contracts, trade and purchase orders for our members, local or international. We will endeavor to ensure that our educational tracts expose our members to the proven best practices that ultimately position them to achieve their goals. We will effectively network amongst ourselves and with other corporate, educational and governmental entities to ensure that we have strategic alliances that lead to business opportunities. Today, I want to announces the new scope of international services: Honduras

The new government of Honduras lead by the President, Porfirio Lobo, will support the Minority Chamber of Commerce with (2) offices in the country. The mission of our international facility will focus on the broader and longer term impact of busines and economic development on private enterprises, within the context of the current turmoil in the regional markets. In particular, it will look at the challenges and opportunities for U.S Minority companies, in-house counsel and investors firms generally in advising these enterprises.

This effort of the Minority Chamber of Commerce will provide an in-depth understanding of Honduras realistic, Honduras of today for private enterprises and practical advice and ready-to-use tools to enable exporters-importers and manufacturing firms to build an international business strategy to meet these challenges and opportunities. A private and productivity US Business Center to facility trade-investment relations with both parts, it’s our mission.

As the Minority Chamber of Commerce has done for almost 10 years, we will continue to be an advocate for small minority and women-owned businesses, and will always be dedicated to helping level the playing field, so that our members share in the economic well-being of the marketplace throughout the opportunity that is representing Honduras at this time.

This website like our Chamber is a work in progress, and we hope that we will make a good impression as you peruse the various components reflecting our services, objectives, upcoming events and newsletter. However, if you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to call me. We are slowly but firm with our electronic page, be patient with us.

We look forward to working with as many of you entrepreneurs, minority and women owned businesses, program managers, business and political leaders as possible. Not only is there power in numbers, there are a lot of great ideas too! Join us and let’s grow together and make lots of money while we positively impact our community.
