Founded in September 2000, The U.S Minority Chamber of Commerce (U.S MCC), has more than 25,000 members in U.S and Latin America with headquarters in Washington DC and operation centers in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico, and global centers in Colombia, Honduras, Dominican Republic and recently Mexico. The U.S MCC is a recognized national “Elite Business Minority Organization” in preparing communities for innovation, economic development, entrepreneurship education, public-private relationship, and the international cooperation for lifelong success with different opportunities to reduce poverty through good practices, relevant knowledge and paths.
U.S MCC is routinely ranked among the nation’s chamber-friendly promoting the business spirit of the United States and open-access institutions through entrepreneurship as a catalyst for economic growth to extend the culture of U.S entrepreneurial thinking to Latin America and the Caribbean, and it is imperative for governments and other relevant institutions to pursue functional partnership and policy goals in this endeavor along with the U.S MCC.
Main Priority: To build trust and to contribute to the economy of the U.S Minority Companies by sustaining a continuous, curated and informal dialogue within in the United States and counterpart in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our top priority is reduced poverty through U.S Entrepreneurship, and secure borders against criminal activities affecting private sector and communities. The U.S MCC International trade platform offers an opportunity to grow the economy, but it must be pursued with American interests in mind.
Our Goals: As a commitment in our policy; we cannot continue to pursue a global order that disregards America’s prosperity and the well-being of our citizens. The U.S MCC believes in the benefits of free trade, and it is committed to robust trade relationships with other nations that value fairness and reciprocity.
Our vision in the United States: As a national global organization fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its prime contractors, and our large database of membership from the small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses.
Our Vision to Latin America and the Caribbean: The U.S MCC conceives different expos and summits as a type of “marketplace of ideas, connections and education“ where initiatives and solutions are developed, and opinions are exchanged between government officials, corporate executives, and members / partners. It provides different venues for trade, export, import, investment, economic development initiatives and ideas.
Our Strategies: The U.S MCC also offers protected space for informal meetings between officials and thus – as its original motto has it – build peace through dialogue, mutual prosperity and cooperation. In addition to its annual flagship conference in trade, investment, security, women development, donors and CEO Summits, the U.S MCC regularly convenes high-profile events.
