New Vaping Laws Exposed – The Challenging Times Ahead

At ProVape, our clients veteran or beginners receive the best online shopping service for all vaping needs. Customers will always find the widest assortment of products, dependable shipping, and a user-friendly experience.

The Vaping industry is about to face some challenging times ahead. In December 2020, Congress passed a large spending package, as we all know, but buried inside the five-thousand-page document were laws regulating online sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act. The act may be better known as the ‘vape mail ban,’ however, the effects go beyond prohibition on postal delivery.

“Your Ultimate Vaping Destination, ‘ProVape’ is currently offering free shipping on orders over $100.00. We ship same-day orders when placed M-F before 4 pm.

ProVape is run by actual vapers, so we understand the challenges inherent in online vape shopping. As many customers have expressed, the online experience can feel a bit empty when compared to hitting the local vape shop. So, if you ever have any questions, issues, or concerns, our friendly customer service team is standing by to help.

“Your Ultimate Vaping Destination, ‘ProVape’ offers the most responsive online shopping experience you’ll ever have.

According to Vaping360 “The Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act wasn’t new. It had already passed the House in October 2019 and the Senate in July 2020 in slightly different forms. CASAA issued a call to action for the bill before it passed the Senate in the summer, but few vapers or vaping businesses seemed especially alarmed by the prospect of its passage.

“The new law does two things:

“Instructs the U.S. Postal Service to create regulations prohibiting shipment of all vaping products through the U.S. Mail to residential addresses.

“Inserts vaping products into the Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act. (The PACT Act is an amendment to the older federal Jenkins Act).”

The E-Cigarettes to Children Act covers a much broader range of products than specified. The product’s definition covered by the law includes not just nicotine vaping devices and e-liquid, but anything that can be used to vape any liquid- or oil-based substance.

“Your Ultimate Vaping Destination, ‘ProVape’ will work tirelessly to keep our clients updated and informed on any unfolding news over the coming months.

The postal ban and PACT Act provisions will include all e-liquid and oil vaping devices, nicotine, and nicotine-free e-liquids, CBD and delta 8 carts, liquids and oils, and every related component, part, or accessory intended for those products.

According to USPS, “Update: The date on when the USPS prohibits mailing vaping products is unknown to residential addresses. Until that announcement, no one knows the final date, any specific dates seen from online retailers are guesses.

“Keep up to date on all PACT Act details on the Ultimate Vaping Destination, ‘ProVape’.

Since the new law was passed and put into effect, all other major delivery companies have announced they will stop delivering vaping products to homes, as well as businesses. FedEx will end vape product shipping on March 1, and UPS on April 5. DHL had already prohibited shipping vaping and nicotine products in the U.S. before the law passed.

As these deadlines approach and when the US Post Office stops shipping vaping products, the vaping industry is working diligently to develop solutions that will allow consumers orders to be delivered, at least for many vapers.

Unfortunately, for some customers it is likely, they will not be able to legally purchase open-system vaping products – at least for the time being — not to mention, smaller online retailers will most likely be unable to survive the disastrous upheaval climb ahead.

“Your Ultimate Vaping Destination, ‘ProVape’ goal is to cover as many customers as possible right away, while we continue searching for alternative legal options for vaping products delivery.”
